  • How long is my reservation?
    Inflatables are not booked per hour. This means we will not rent out your item(s) more than once per day. We will work with you to schedule an appropriate drop off and pick up time. We reserve the right to alter pick up and drop off times based on scheduling needs. Tents, tables, & chairs are rented per day. We do however prefer to drop off the day before your event, and pick up the day after your event as long as scheduling and the weather cooperates.
  • Where do we deliver?
    At this time we only serve the State of Connecticut. Fairfield & New Haven Counties are our primary location. We will deliver statewide with an additional fee.
  • Are we licensed & insured?
    Yes, J&R Party Rentals is insured, and is a registered LLC with The State of Connecticut. We are also "SIOTO" certified - Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization.
  • Is there a contract?
    Upon delivery of any inflatable, you will be required to read and sign our rental contract & operating instructions. We will answer any questions you may have and discuss all safety rules & instructions prior to leaving. While it is not required to reserve our inflatables, we always recommend that you obtain your own event insurance policy to protect you and your guests. Contracts for tents, tables, and chairs are normally emailed out a day or two prior to your event and can be digitally signed for your convenience.
  • What do we offer?

  • How do I make a reservation?

  • How often do we clean our inflatables?
    Our inflatables are cleaned & sanitized after every use.
  • Can I book for more than one day?
    Generally, bounce houses are set up and picked up same day. If a multi-day reservation is needed, please reach out via email or by phone. For most table, chair, & tent reservations, we prefer to drop off the day before your event and pick up the day after.
  • How far in advance should I reserve?
    The sooner the better! Reservations fill up quick. We make it simple to reserve with our online booking system.
  • How do I pay?
    During the online booking process for inflatables, you will be required to pay a $100 deposit. You can pay by either credit card, ACH transfer, and or Affirm. Prior to your event, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance. You may pay it online via the options above, or in person prior to setup via cash or credit card. Tent, Table, & Chair rentals follow the same procedure, except the deposit is only $50.
  • Do we offer Gift Cards?
    Yes, you can purchase gift cards on our website. They do not expire, and you can use them to purchase any products or rentals that we offer!
  • Can I cancel my reservation?
    Yes you can. If you cancel with at least 24hrs notice, you will receive a full refund. Cancelations with less that 24hrs notice result in a non refundable deposit, however you will receive a refund for your rental fee if paid.
  • What forms of payment do we take?
    We accept all major credit cards, ACH, cash, & Affirm.
  • Weather related cancelations & reschedules
    Unfortunately we all know how unpredictable New England weather can be. In the event of inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule your reservation if you so choose. If that is not an option we will refund your rental including deposit. You will NOT receive any refund if weather prevents use of any items after they have been delivered.
  • When is final payment due?
    After an order is placed and deposit is paid, you will receive an invoice via email for the remaining balance. This balance can be paid at anytime prior to your reservation date. Upon arrival of our team, any remaining balance MUST be paid before any item is delivered.
  • How much does it cost?
    Each item comes at a different cost. Prices are shown on their specific pages. Keep in mind, Connecticut Sales Tax is added during the checkout process for each item.
  • Do we setup indoors?
    Of course, as long as we can fit through the door and your ceilings are tall enough. Our specialty white inflatables are perfect for your next indoor event. We offer smaller sizes which most homes can accommodate. Keep in mind, our inflatables are rolled up for delivery. The larger the inflatable, the larger the roll will be, making it more difficult to fit through normal doorways. If you have any concerns we would be glad to speak to you prior to booking.
  • What surfaces do we setup on?
    Grass is the optimal place to setup any of our inflatables. We will also setup on concrete, asphalt, AstroTurf or any other smooth non rough surface. Whichever it may be the area MUST be level.
  • How do we secure the inflatables?
    Depending on the surface, we will either spike the inflatable into the ground, or utilize sandbags. Please note, we are not responsible for any damage that may occur with securing the inflatable into the ground. We highly suggest if you have concerns of underground utilities or sprinkler lines to call "Call Before You Dig". You can visit them online at https://www.cbyd.com/.
  • Who is responsible for setup & breakdown?
    We handle setup and breakdown of all inflatables, tents, & photo booth rentals. Customers are responsible for the set up of all table & chair rentals unless agreed upon prior to delivery.
